About Orion

The Editorial Board started circulating student newsletters as part of its goal to providing information about the college to students while improving students’ article writing skills along with learning to meet deadlines and dealing with bossy editors. :)

In 2008, the newsletter was officially named ‘Orion’ – a famous star constellation named after a hunter in Greek mythology. That year also saw the newsletter change from an Editorial Board centred newsletter to a wider reader base- all of INTI’s students.

In early 2009, the 13th INTIMA Editorial Board launched INTIOrion.com in an effort to expand it’s readership. Previously, only 200 to 250 copies of the Orion were printed every month due to financial constraints. The website’s goal is to optain readership of at least 15% of INTI University College’s nearly 5,000 students.
